Canticle of the Joy of Being

We are light, we are joy, we are overflowing love, we are divine, creative, loving, grace-filled creatures. 

We are capable of extraordinary actions, ethical and just, strong and courageous.

We are a choir of souls capable of singing the most inspired melodies.

Together we are a force, the force of shared love, that welcomes, understands, forgives every harmful action and transforms it into a lucid, awake, self-present consciousness.

Our light emerges from the deep darkness of a part of our history and emerges stronger and more aware, having defeated Evil and transformed it into Joy. 

For the opposite of evil is joy, the pure joy of being, which is inner dance, primordial sound, consciousness of the divine shining within us.

We are learning that Love is made of small gestures, of caring attention, of the courage of truth. 

The opposite of Love is fear, dark and cold, which holds us down, in the repetitive memory of the pain that has been. 

We are prisoners of the fear of pain, but we are something else. 

We are an unstoppable force, transforming everything and bringing it back into harmony. 

We must rediscover our past, but without being afraid of it, without renewing the terror, the pain, the anguish. 

We are made of light and we will become light again. 

Nothing can stop us, because it is right and we know it.

We can never stop, because Love has no limits and neither does Knowledge. 

The transformed world will be the sign of our passing. 

We will not stay here long; other are our destinies. 

Loving and understanding, understanding and loving are all we know how to do. 

And this will be our gift to ourselves and to the sorrowful world we are living in.
